Biography[]

Background[]

Freddie has been a student of Ridgeway High School in his high school years, along with Carly Shay, Sam Puckett, and Gibby Gibson. He worked as a technical producer of the web-show iCarly and he previously dated Sam.

#ToddlerClimbing[]

Freddie helped Sam and Cat off-screen by using his computer skills to find out where the negative reviews came from.

#TheKillerTunaJump[]

Cat called Freddie from LA to get him to come there so she could get back at Sam for "stealing" her friend Jade. To do that, she told Freddie that Sam got run over by an SUV. Freddie got to LA where Cat started flirting with him and then the two went out to Bots. At Bots, they met up with Sam and Jade. Sam was annoyed at Freddie for not letting her know, then Cat's phone rang and she and Freddie left for the freeway tour. After the tour, Freddie and Cat came back to the apartment where they overheard music and came in to see Robbie Shapiro playing and singing "I Think You're Swell" to Sam. Cat interrupted the song and started arguing with Sam. Dice then came in, fretting about his problem with the Dirty Skipper refusing to jump the tuna. Sam then declared that she would do it, much to Freddie's fear. After Cat and Sam stormed out of the apartment, Jade came in and asked if she missed anything. The next night, Freddie and Robbie arrived at Fisherman's Wharf to watch Sam jump the tuna. Since they were too late to get tickets, they got to watch up on the cameraman's crane. They witnessed Cat, disguised as Sam, failing to jump the tuna in front of the real Sam, causing the two boys to fall into the tank. Sam managed to save Freddie, but Robbie was left in there. The two boys were then put into the hospital when Sam asked Freddie out on a date and Robbie asked Cat on a date. After the girls left the room, Robbie played "I Think You're Swell" to Freddie, much to his annoyance.

After he recovered from his injures, he presumably had that date with Sam and then went home.

Personality[]

Freddie is very intelligent and is shown to be a bit of a "geeky, but cool" person who can get excited about anything that has to do with technology. Since iCarly, he still contacts Sam every once in a while, though it's usually when she needs something. It's been hinted from his mother that he does stare at Carly's old apartment. He seems to have worked out as when Robbie tried to punch him, he didn't budge (though this may just be more Robbie than Freddie).

Relationships[]

Marissa Benson[]

(1994-Present: Mother)

Freddie and Marissa have a hard relationship. Most times, Marissa is overprotective of Freddie and he is annoyed by this. But despite this, Marissa is a very caring mother who loves Freddie. In #TheKillerTunaJump: #Freddie #Jade #Robbie, it is shown they have a tough relationship as Marissa is wondering what he is doing outside when he is talking to Cat Valentine and Freddie is easily annoyed by Marissa in the special. When Marissa says she has a itch, Freddie yells, "That's not my responsibility!"

Sam Puckett[]

(2005-Present: Enemies; Frenemies; Best Friends; Ex-boyfriend; Possible Love Interest)

In iCarly, Freddie's relationship with Sam in the first season shows a strong dislike for each other. They have become more civil to one another as the series progresses to the point of them only arguing when they are around other people. Freddie constantly finds himself on the wrong end of Sam's demeanor and his near-psychotic mother's over-protectiveness. Throughout the series, Sam insults him, causes physical harm to him, or pulls pranks on him without hesitation, and also insults any girl who is attracted to him. But it's shown they both care for each other. They dated and broke up during the series' fourth season. It has been hinted that Sam and Freddie still have feelings for each other, but they haven't confronted each other about their feelings as of yet.

They do seem to be okay with each other as Sam doesn't hesitate contacting Freddie for help. When he comes to L.A., Sam becomes upset when he didn't contact her. He is at least still worries about her especially when Sam decides to jump the tuna. After getting injured by the tuna, Sam tells him that she wants to hang out after he recovers, hinting they might get together again.

Cat Valentine[]

(2014-Present: Friends)

This friendship has started in the episode, #TheKillerTunaJump. Cat decides to call Freddie on Sam's phone to make Sam jealous since Jade and Sam are now best friends. Cat convinces Freddie that Sam was in an accident, so he flies to L.A. to see if she's okay and learns that it isn't true. Cat ends up flirting with him and they both share a nice Spanish conversation before they spend the whole day together. Even though Freddie learns he is used, they do still have a minor friendship between each other.

Robbie Shapiro[]

(2014: One sided friendship (on Robbie's side))

After discovering Sam and Cat used each other, Robbie decided to hang out with Freddie, much to Freddie's irritation. When they came to watch Sam jump the Killer Tuna, he called out to Jade for help, especially after Robbie declares them Frobbie.

Jade West[]

(2014: Acquaintance)

At Bots, Cat asks if Jade thinks Freddie is cute; Jade grins and calls him "a pretty little chunk of boy". During the night of the stunt, Freddie asks Jade to help him get away from Robbie, and Jade refers to the two as "Frobbie". She also records Freddie and Robbie falling into the pool of killer tuna. Even though Sam's stunt was not performed, Jade says that she's "satisfied because [Freddie and Robbie] got hurt."

Dice Corleone[]

(2014: Acquaintance)

Dice and Freddie don't interact much. When they met in #TheKillerTunaJump, Freddie said that Dice has amazing hair. Later Freddie (and Robbie) tried to buy tickets from Dice to see Sam jump the tuna only to find out Dice is sold out of tickets.

Appearances[]

Quotes[]

Freddie: I didn't say anything funny.
Freddie: My life really is awkward.
Freddie: I haven't "fadoodled" with Cat.
Freddie: [on phone] Mom, what is it? HOW DID YOU KNOW I SAID BUTTOCKS?!
